Homework:

There will also be longer, more formal, homework assignments concentrating on the five-paragraph essay. All major homework assignments will be corrected, and trainee performance will be recorded. Trainees are required to re-write their returned submissions and to keep their original and revised essays side-by-side in their writing portfolios.
Textbooks:
Great Writing 4 - Great Essays is the background textbook. Other handouts will be provided to highlight important aspects of the course.
Materials:
Please bring a clear file notebook to class for your handouts and homework assignments. In addition, please ensure that you have writing materials and a dictionary.
Note
Additional, more specific, information on writing assignments and projects will be provided as the session progresses.
